After searching for what felt like an eternity… finally a Lime Crime Venus Palette dupe has arrived.

Makeup Revolution have recently launched a beautiful palette that, at only £6.99, is really a no-brainer. They call it  New-Trals vs Neutrals‘, a gorgeous mix of cranberry, pink and taupe shades that are perfectly on trend for fall 2015.

There are 16 shadows in the palette consisting of 5 glitter shades, 6 satin shades and 5 matte shades. Each shadow is highly pigmented and they blend seamlessly into each other. I would even go so far as to say they are of similar quality to MAC eyeshadows, which are £13.00 each!

The palette is packaged in a matte plastic casing with a full size mirror and comes with a double-ended synthetic fibre brush. The matte plastic casing is a nice touch, but be warned it is an extreme finger print collector! However, it does not look out of place next to the higher end brands.

Above is a swatch taken in natural daylight with no eyeshadow primer used. The shades right to left are: Bias, Neutral, Personal, Vogue, Trend, New-Tral, Tone, Custom, Cool, Style, Partial, Mode, Adapt, Buff, Suit and Strong.

My personal favourites are; Trend, New-Tral, Tone and Custom. These four colours are stunning.

I created a simple look using the Makeup Revolution Focus & Fix Eye Primer and the shades: Tone, New-Tral, Custom and Bias.

I put New-Tral all over my lid then took Tone through the crease and used Custom to darken the outer corner. I then put a dash of Bias in the inner corner to brighten the eye. I lined my lower lash line with Custom to add some definition to the look.

Overall, the longevity of the shadows is pretty impressive, having worn this look all day and it not budging once!

I would highly recommend this palette and brand to anyone who is looking for amazing quality at an affordable price. I have been 100% converted to the guys at Makeup Revolution!
